Preparatory meeting for conference of Danube basin countries
BELGRADE - The first preparatory meeting for Yugoslavia's participation in the 4th business regional conference of Danube basin countries was held in Belgrade on Wednesday, as organized by the Federal Foreign Ministry and the Yugoslav Chamber of Commerce.
The essence of the conference of all 13 Danube basin countries, to be held in Bucharest from June 4-8, will be to activate the business potentials relating to the Danube - from ecological protection to
sub regional cooperation, such as that in the European region of the Djerdap power plants, Assistant Foreign Minister Jelica Minic said.
