Serbia has nothing to export, rate of exchange change cannot help, expert
BELGRADE - "We have nothing to export and no rate of exchange can help us there," coordinator of the investigating program of the
Institute of Economic Science in Belgrade Stojan Stamenkovic said, following the repeated demands for changing the rate of exchange of the dinar in order to increase exports.
Stamenkovic said that in the event of the depreciation of the dinar, imports would be reduced and foreign currency reserves of the National Bank of Yugoslavia would be increased.
