Foreign investments into electric power sphere only on condition of legal security
BELGRADE - Serbian Electric Power Company (EPS) board of managers president, Nikola Rajakovic, told Tanjug on Tuesday that there is much free capital in Europe which could be used for investing in the construction of new thermo-electric facilities in Serbia, but this will not happen until the legal safety of such investments is secured.
"It is very important to determine our genuine power needs, especially regarding electricity and in this respect we should not be greedy," Rajakovic set out adding that although it is necessary to rationally utilize the electric power, "this, in any case, will not be sufficient" to meet overall domestic needs.
