UN inspection arriving because of phenol
Belgrade - 'Permanent solution of phenol problem requires large investments in 'Obilic' energy plant within 'Trepca' system. This problem has been existing for 20 years already', Srdja Popovic, advisor to Serbian Prime Minister for environment says for 'Blic' daily.
'Our idea is that parties concerned should mutually settle the problem. This means that our experts should meet with experts of UNMIK and Kosovo Albanians and solve the phenol problem together. This problem forced UNMIK to talk with us although it has not been the case so far. If in Kraljevo the concentration of phenol is 1 in Kosovska Mitrovica is 10. UN inspection from New York is expected to arrive in Kosovo soon since our country has reported this incident', Bozovic said.
