Serbia to export meat to Italy, Greece soon
VALJEVO - Serbian Deputy Agriculture Minister Dragan Markovic said in Valjevo on Thursday that, after receiving relevant certificates, Serbia would soon start exporting meat to Italy and Greece and that it could export an annual 10,000
tones of high quality meat.
Markovic said that most likely this year, Serbia would start to fatten bull
calves for the needs of the Bavarian meat-processing industry. The fattened
bull calves would then be sold on the third markets.
