Constitutional Charter and Implementation Law Adopted in Montenegrin Parliament
Podgorica - Montenegrin Assembly adopted this evening the Constitutional Charter of future state community of Serbia and Montenegro and its implementation law.
The charter and the law have been adopted by votes of MP’s from the ruling Democratic Party of Socialists and oppositional Socialist People’s Party, People’s Party and Serbian National Party. The MP’s from Social-Democratic Party and Liberal-Citizen Party, along with MP’s of Albanian national parties were against it.
The implementation law was adopted with 44 votes for and 18 votes against it. No MP’s abstained from voting. MP’s from DPS and SNP voted for it, while Serbian National Party, People’s Party, Social-Democratic Party and Albanian parties were against it.
Serbian Assembly also adopted the Charter and the following law two days ago.
