Agreement signed on settlement of electricity debt of southern Serbian consumers
BELGRADE - Representatives of the Serbian government, Electric Power Industry of Serbia (EPS) and the municipalities of Bujanovac, Presevo and Medvedja on Monday signed an agreement on the payment to EPS of a debt created by consumers in these three municipalities, which has reached the amount of 112 million dinars over the past three years, as well as on their obligation to settle their electricity bills regularly as of January 1, 2003.
The agreement was signed by Serbian Deputy Premier Nebojsa Covic, Assistant Minister of Mining and Energy Ljiljana Hadzibaba, EPS assistant manager general Vladimir Djordjevic and mayors of Bujanovac, Presevo and Medvedja Nagip Arifi, Riza Halimi and Slobodan Draskovic.
