Prices in Yugoslavia increased by 14.2 percent
BELGRADE - The total price increase in 2002 amounted to 14.2 percent, which is an increase of 1.1 percent per month on average, a report on price movement and living expenses in the year 2002 discussed by the Federal Government on Thursday said.
As announced by the Federal Secretariat for Information, the highest increase recorded is that of services - 31.2 percent, which are followed by cigarettes - 19.9 percent. Green market prices went up 14.5 percent, while foodstuff prices increased 14 percent.
