Proposal of law on employment - Fight against illegal work
Belgrade - If deputies of Serbian Parliament accept Proposal of Law on employment and insurance in case of unemployment, workers working illegally will be erased from the evidence of unemployed workers.
The main goal of this law is to bring within acceptable limits the present enormous unemployment and decrease of illegal work.
According to official statistics the current number of unemployed people is more than 900.000. However, one third of them does not want to work and is registered not in search of job but only to have social insurance paid. The penalty for employing illegal workers is from 200.000 to 400.000 Dinars.
