World Bank will support transition of Serbia and Montenegro
BELGRADE - Yugoslav Deputy Premier Miroljub Labus conferred on Monday with World Bank Deputy President Shangman Zhang on the cooperation between this international financial institution and the future state community of Serbia and Montenegro, and the further realization of financial arrangements between the World Bank and this country.
An agreement with the World Bank on a new loan, under IDA conditions, worth about 140 million dollars will be signed by the end of February. It will be used for the structural adaptation of small and medium-sized companies (80 million) and social benefits (60 million), Labus said.
