World Bank delegation completes Kosovo visit
A World Bank delegation yesterday finished a two-day inspection of projects it is financing in Kosovo with the announcement of further assistance.
Officials said the bank was keen to remain in Kosovo and continue to support economic development.
Delegation leader Shengman Zhang said that the bank was unable to give loans because of Kosovo’s undefined status, but that other ways would be found to help the province.
During its visit, the delegation met UN governor Michael Steiner, President Ibrahim Rugova and Prime Minister Bajram Redzep.
