New state’s parliament could be elected in two months
BELGRADE – Constitutional Commission Zoran Zizic said today that members of the new parliament of Serbia and Montenegro could be elected as early as March 15.
“I believe that this could happen by mid-March. Of course we have nothing against it being done earlier, but I think that this is when it will happen,” he said.
Zizic told Radio B92 that the Socialist People’s Party had supported legislation to implement the Constitutional Charter because it strengthened the union of Serbia and Montenegro.
