Albanian Government Approved Free Trade Agreement with FRY
Sabac - Ministerial Council of the Albanian government approved last night free trade agreement between Albania and FR Yugoslavia.
The obligations that come from the agreement regard the implementation of the Memorandum about Understanding for Trade Liberalization, signed by countries of Southeastern Europe Stability Pact. The agreement between the two countries was a result of regional cooperation process, lead by Ministries of Economy and Finances of the two countries, as well as Ministries of Agriculture, Ministries of Industry and other ministries.
The agreement also implies open negotiations of Albanian and Yugoslav side about Free Trade Agreement with Kosovo. Free Trade Agreement also relates to continued implementation of Albanian government’s program for further trade liberalization.
At the same time, Albanian government basically approved free trade agreement between Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
