US company interested in investing in can production
BELGRADE - Serbian Premier Zoran Djindjic will on Thursday receive the management of the US company Ball Packaging Europe, headed by company president Jan Driessens, and discuss the possibilities for a major investment in the production of beverage cans, the Serbian government said in a statement on Wednesday.
According to plans, 80 percent of the production should be exported, the statement said and added that the meeting would be attended by Yugoslav Minister of International Economic Relations Goran Pitic and US Ambassador in Belgrade William Montgomery.
