Dafina Milanovic remanded in custody
ZWEIBRUCHEN – A court in Germany has ruled that the former owner of the Dafiment Bank, Dafina Milanovic, should be remanded in custody pending extradition.
A decision on the extradition is expected by the end of this month.
The court is to rule on whether there are grounds to comply with Yugoslavia’s demand for extradition of Milanovic, whose pyramid savings scheme cost hundreds of thousands of Serbs their life savings.
The extradition must also be approved by the Federal Ministry of Justice in Berlin.
