Serbian government finalizes bill on employment
BELGRADE - Serbian government finalized Friday a bill on employment and on unemployment insurance, which should secure the conditions for faster employment, more efficient meeting of employer's needs for manpower, financial security for persons losing their jobs and retraining and advanced training for new jobs.
The bill also introduces the concept of unemployed person as an active job seeker and envisages for this purpose the creation of a national employment service and of private employment agencies which should provide services to job seekers free of charge.
