More than 95 percent of companies open commercial bank accounts
BELGRADE - National Bank of Yugoslavia (NBY) Vice Governor Vesna Arsic told Tanjug on Tuesday that by taking over payment operations from the former Payment and Settlement Bureau (ZOP), the country's commercial banks had passed the test of knowledge, ability and adaptability.
She said that more than 146,000 legal entities had opened bank accounts that would replace their old ZOP accounts and that only between three and five percent of all legal entities had still not opened accounts at banks.
