State collected 815 million dinars ($13 mill) worth of taxes in a single day
BELGRADE - Money transfers amounted to nine billion dinars in commercial banks throughout Serbia on Monday using the new payment system, of which taxes accounted for some 815 million dinars, Vice-Governor of the National Bank of Yugoslavia Vesna Arsic told Tanjug.
The use of the new payment system began in about 2,000 branches of local banks in Serbia on Monday, based on the Law on payment system adopted in January 2002.
