Several firms in Smederevo are being privatized
SMEDEREVO - Sartid of Smederevo has started the process of business and technical cooperation with US Steel, which should help the company consolidate and get out of the bankruptcy proceedings, Smederevo municipal assembly head Tomislav Petrovic told Tanjug.
"We expect that US Steel will appear as a buyer in the forthcoming privatization of Sartid, which will take place under a special Serbian government programme," he said.
