For redundant workers - 5.5 billion dinars
BELGRADE - The Serbian government allocated 5.5 million dinars for severance payments to 45,000 redundant workers in 2002, Serbian
Labor Minister Dragan Milovanovic has said.
"The 2003 budget includes 7.5 billion dinars for the transition fund, and six billion for stimulation of employment and benefits for those who register with the employment bureau, but we believe we shall get more funds from the privatization," Milovanovic said in a statement published by the Belgrade daily Vecernje Novosti on Monday.
