NBY Governor calls entrepreneurs to open accounts in banks
Belgrade - 'I appeal to all legal entities to use the last two working days of this year and open their business accounts in banks having in mind changes in payment operations coming in force as of the beginning of 2003', Governor of the National Bank of Yugoslavia Mladjan Dinkic said for 'Blic' daily. 'If they fail to do so they will not be able to effect payments as of January 6, the first working day in 2003. The penalty for this violation of regulations is from 300,000 to 3 million Dinars', Dinkic said. According to his information 62400 accounts have been opened so far.
