More than economic recovery needed: Djelic
NOVI SAD – Serbian Finance Minister Bozidar Djelic said today that Serbia needs more than economic recovery to emerge from the present crisis.
"We're not going to get out of this situation with the help of the economy. State interests need to be redefined urgently, which is difficult to do because the new Serbian constitution has not been adopted.
"As someone who has returned from Europe, it sometimes drive me mad to see people's overlarge appetites, lack of moderation and unreal ideas about themselves.
"People here still think that Serbia is a major power which has been abused, as it was in the nineties when suicidal politics found support," said Djelic.
