Serbia's Public Revenue Service to become tax administration
BELGRADE - Serbia's Republican Public Revenue Service (RUJP) will become a tax administration as of Jan 1, and will operate within the Ministry of Finances and Economics, while the Clearing and Settlement Bureau (ZOP) will cease to exist, so that payment operations will proceed in banks, RUJP representative Spomenka Mitrovic said on Wednesday.
Speaking about the changes in the manner of public revenue payments, she told a meeting at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce that the new system of public revenue payments is regulated by laws on tax procedure and tax administration, the budget system and payment operations.
