Slovenia will not sign FTA if Yugoslavia continues to postpone it
LJUBLJANA - Ljubljana has said that there is no point in signing a free trade agreement (FTA) with Yugoslavia if Belgrade postpones it for too long, since the document will cease to be in effect anyway six months before Slovenia joins the European Union.
"If the Yugoslav side puts it off for too long, there is no point in signing the agreement at all," Slovenian Economy Ministry advisor Metka Jerina told Slovenia's STA news agency.
