Yugoslav central bank to secure single digit inflation
BELGRADE - Yugoslav National (central) Bank's priority in 2003 will be to secure the stability of prices, and it therefore plans a series of measures for reducing inflation to a single digit figure, Deputy Governor Vesna Arsic said.
She told Reuters that the Bank will diversify its activities and use new instruments in order to reduce inflation to 9 percent in 2003 from the 15 pct projected for 2002.
