20 billion dollars for agriculture in 2003
BACKA TOPOLA - Vojvodina's Secretary for Agriculture Igor Kurjacki assessed on Wednesday as insufficient the eight billion dinars allocated for agriculture from the republican budget for the year 2003, but that this was the maximum amount that could be planned. Kurjacki told Tanjug that, beside the eight billion, the state will invest in agriculture close to 20 billion dinars through different investments, tax relieves, and interest-free loans.
This is a much bigger amount than before, said Kurjacki, adding that production conditions will be more favorable in 2003 than in the previous years.
