Yugoslav deputy prime minister, Russian officials discuss bilateral trade increase
MOSCOW - Yugoslav Deputy Prime Minister Miroljub Labus told Tanjug on Tuesday that during their official visit to the Russian Federation, a Yugoslav state and business delegation had conferred with Russian officials about stepping up bilateral trade in order to reduce Yugoslavia's major deficit in trade with this country.
Labus said that on Wednesday he would meet with Russian Minister of Economic Development and Trade German Gref to discuss the Yugoslav debt for the delivered natural gas and oil. Yugoslavia owes Russia about 260 million dollars for gas deliveries alone.
