Serbia, Montenegro to coordinate tariff rates in March 2003
BELGRADE - Serbia and Montenegro plan to coordinate tariff rates by March 2003, in order to regulate their economic relations and speed up integration in the European Union, Serbian Assistant Foreign Trade Minister Radmila Milivojevic said Monday.
Simultaneously, a law on foreign trade is due to be passed, she told a seminar on customs policy and coordination of Serbia's and Montenegro's tariff rates with those of the EU and the World Trade Organization in the context of agricultural sector development, held at the Yugoslav Chamber of Commerce (PKJ).
