Supreme Court dismisses Kostunica party's complaint
BELGRADE - Supreme Court of Serbia has dismissed the complaint of the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) to the final results of the December 8 presidential elections, said the Republic Election Commission after receiving the court's decision.
"Supreme Court of Serbia has found that the Commission acted properly when it dismissed the complaint. The court assessed that errors in voters' personal data did not influence the exercise of a vote right," said in the statement.
In a complaint to the Supreme Court of Serbia, the DSS specified there were more than 830,000 irregularities in the electoral rolls and that the number should be deducted from the general number of voters, making the elections valid and Vojislav Kostunica a winner.
