New crusade for Kostunica party
BELGRADE – Vojislav Kostunica’s Democratic Party of Serbia warned today that it will launch a no-confidence motion in the Serbian Government unless work begins immediately on a new Constitution.
Party vice-president Dragan Marsicanin declined to give a deadline for the party’s attempt to topple the government, but added that it would “very soon” be obvious if there was any serious intent of changing the Constitutional.
Marsicanin estimated that six months was adequate to draft the new document and proposed the establishment of a commission to carry out the work.
He added that the government was leading the country into complete economic collapse.
