Croatia gets sovereignty over Prevlaka peninsula
PREVLAKA, CROATIA – UN observers this afternoon handed over the Prevlaka peninsula to the Croatian government, giving them full sovereignty of this territory which borders Montenegro.
“This agreement shows that the two countries (Croatia and Montenegro) are capable of reaching an agreement on important political questions”, said Croatian President Tomislav Vidosevic.
