Will Montenegro suffer same election fate as Serbia?
PODGORICA – The election committee for the Socialist National Party (SNP) has called all its supporters to not attend the Montenegrin presidential elections on 22 December.
SNP spokesperson Dragan Koprivica said the main reason for this is that they, and other members of the “Together for Change” coalition do not have their own candidate, therefore they will support no one.
“There is no chance of the elections succeeding on December 22 because half the voters must cast a ballot,” but, “for this to happen, 50,000 SNP voters are required, and that is not going to happen,” he told “Vijesti”.
DPS whip Predrag Boskovic said that the presidential elections must succeed. He thought Filip Vujanovic would win, despite the stubborn attempts by the opposition to annul the election process.
“Their plan to worsen the crisis is already destined to fail. Voters will support Vujanovic, Europe’s favorite for Montenegro”, said Boskovic.
