At least two bills on charter: commission coordinator
BELGRADE - Constitutional Subcommittee will be offered at least two bills today, said Bosko Ristic, coordinator of the working group for draft law on implementation of Serbia and Montenegro's Constitutional Charter.
Ristic told Beta that one proposal was being drafted by the working group, trying to compile bill proposed by various political subjects and conclusions of the Constitutional Committee.
He added that he was the initiator of the second proposal, also based on various proposals and conclusions of the Constitutional Commission.
Ristic declined to specify the solutions from his own proposal, but said that he received support from Serbian and Yugoslav government, as well as Yugoslav National Bank.
This proposal was being drafted by experts from the Democratic Party, he said.
According to Ristic, the make up of the working group consists of representatives from Serbian and Yugoslav parliament's expert services, as well as experts delegated by certain political parties.
Ristic said he will carry out consultations with the Subcommittee today and decide whether to go on with the session scheduled for tomorrow.
