Constitutional Law Finished
Belgrade - The working group for creation of law about implementation of the Constitutional Charter held its second meeting today. The job is finished, said one of the members to Beta agency. The working group was formed on 10 December. It consists of legal experts, representatives of parliaments of Serbia, Montenegro and FRY.
The source of Beta agency said the text should be reviewed by first the subcommittee for creation of the Constitutional Charter, and then the Constitutional Committee. Bosko Ristic, the representative of the Democratic Party should call the session of the subcommittee. The most optimistic estimates say that the Constitutional Committee could discuss the Constitutional Law by the end of the next week.
The Constitutional Committee should find a solution for the dates when the countdown would commence, the dates that should be included in the Constitutional Law. The law on implementation of the Constitutional Charter should be adopted at the three parliaments, together with the Charter.
The working group for creation of the Charter about Human and Minority Rights will also hold its first session today.
