Dinkic says reforms slow down in second half of 2002
BELGRADE - National Bank of Yugoslavia (NBY) Governor Mladjan Dinkic on Thursday voiced satisfaction because the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development had praised the reform of Yugoslavia's banking sector and economy, and said that the problem was that reforms had slowed down in the second half of the year, primarily because of political conflicts.
Presenting a report on transition in Yugoslavia, Dinkic said that the report was based on data from the first half of 2002, when the reforms were in full swing.
