Serbian budget is restrictive, but good - Serbian premier
BELGRADE - Serbian Premier Zoran Djindjic said on Thursday that the 2003 budget was restrictive but good, since it would ensure a further development of the country.
Presenting draft public expenditure for 2003 at parliament, Djindjic said that budgetary expenditure had to stay within the planned levels and that no strikes could change that. He said that though he understood the doctors, teachers and policemen, this was the maximum amount the state could give them.
