Cupic says privatization in Serbia proceeds with success
BELGRADE - This year, 121 of the 141 offered Serbian enterprises were privatized by auction and 10 of the offered 24 enterprises by tender,
which indicates a high degree of success in the privatization of Serbian enterprises - 86 percent in the case of auctions and 42 percent in the case of tenders, head of the government's
Privatization Agency Vladimir Cupic said on Wednesday.
Speaking at a news conference aimed at summarizing results of the tender and auction sales, Cupic said that the overall earnings through
privatization had reached the amount of 292.5 million euros and investments 275.2 million euros.
