Trade unions of public companies protest outside Serbian government headquarters
BELGRADE - Members of trade unions of major public companies in Serbia, displeased with their financial position and the
government measures, rallied on Wednesday afternoon outside the headquarters of the Serbian government, blocking traffic in one of the main traffic arteries in downtown Belgrade.
About 1,000 trade unions members of the Serbian electric power company EPS, the Serbian oil industry NIS, Serbian railways, the Serbian telecommunications companies Telekom Srbija and PTT Serbija took part in the protest.
