IZIT says 5-percent economic growth is insufficient
BELGRADE - A 5-percent economic growth, planned for 2003, is insufficient and at this pace, the country will need another 25 years to reach the level registered in 1989, Market Research Institute (IZIT) expert Toma Milisavljevic said on Tuesday.
Presenting the Yugoslav market trends bulletin, Milisavljevic said that next year, economic growth should amount to at least seven percent, increasing every subsequent year until it exceeded 10 percent.
