Serbian parliament concludes debate on financial statement for 2000
BELGRADE - The Serbian parliament on Tuesday completed a debate on the financial statement for the 2000 budget, with a report on budgetary control for the 1996-1999 period.
During the debate, Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) MPs, who held power at the time, strongly opposed the budgetary inspection's report, believing that it was not professional and that it was aimed at discrediting the SPS and the then government without providing any evidence.
