Foreigners conquest coffee market in Yugoslavia
Belgrade - 'It happened what I had said a year ago when propaganda campaign of companies producing 'grand coffee' and 'don coffee' have become even more aggressive. I then warned that such campaign would lead to their sale to foreigners interested to take over our coffee market and dictate all rules in the future', Dragan Eric, president of Yugoslav Association for coffee says for 'Blic' daily. He confirmed information by Reuters that Israeli Company Elite had bought 40 percent of Doncafe Co. for 15.3 million Euros.
Doncafe Co. did not want to comment Reuters' information. 'Blic' daily, however, managed to get from Doncafe Co. representative only information that no agreement has been signed.
