Constitutional Charter Adopted
Belgrade - The session of committee for creation of the Constitutional Charter that started on Friday after 2 PM is over. As radio B 92 reported, the Charter was adopted after many quarrels between the committee members from DPS and SNP. A verbal duel between SNP and DPS members Zoran Zizic and Dragan Kujovic took place at the press conference after the unsuccessful voting.
Zizic made claims that DPS representatives ‘promised him in Podgorica that they would accept SNP demands about the Charter. Kujovic dismissed Zizic’s claims, saying that was all untrue. ‘We did not promise anything to you’, said Kujovic. The representatives of Democratic Party of Serbia then called on both sides to come back to the hall, but Kujovic had left the assembly meeting.
