Schroeder and Kasyanov due in Belgrade soon
BERLIN - German Prime Minister Gerhard Schroeder and Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov informed their Serbian counterpart last night on their plans to visit Belgrade in the near future thus confirmed their support to Serbia and economic and market reforms.
Kasyanov is due in Belgrade in January while Schroeder’s visit is expected next summer.
Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic attended yesterday in Berlin the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the German economic Board for the East, the oldest German economic institution that mediates between companies and economic organizations in the former Soviet Union countries and Easter and Western Europe.
Djindjic held talks with a number of German senior economic representatives. He told Schroeder that Belgrade expects Berlin’s stronger support in the process of launching association and stabilization negotiations with the European Union.
