Imports of metal pipes threaten home production
ALEKSINAC - The production and operation of factories of metal pipes and sections in Serbia is threatened by excessive imports of these products from Ukraine and other countries and their sale at far lower prices than of domestic products, General Manager Zoran Milosavljevic of the factory of cold-rolled metal sections FAHOP of the southern Serbian town
of Aleksinac has said.
FAHOP monthly produces over 3,000 tons of pipes which are also exported to Germany, Greece, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Slovenia, Milosavljevic said.
