Two fairs open in Belgrade
BELGRADE - The local agriculture is on its way of revival and promotion of its potentials, and it is our aim to open new markets and promote the existing one that has been impoverished over the past years by a drop in quality and bad selection of commodities, Serbian Minister for Agriculture Dragan Veselinov said on Tuesday.
Veselinov said at the opening of the 29th International Fair of food, beverages and equipment and the 10th International Wine Fair that Serbia's government had forwarded to the republican parliament a proposal to increase the farming budget for 2003 by 38 per cent in order to accelerate the
agricultural production.
