Inflation at 9 percent next year
BELGRADE – Serbian Under-secretary for trade Branislav Rakic says that he expects inflation for the next year to be at 9 percent.
“The rate of inflation will be less than 10 percent, because of the fact that energy has become more expensive, and that this will not happen again next year. We know that every rise in prices of electricity and oil derivatives have a direct affect on all other prices, “ said Rakic.
Rakic estimated that the drop in prices will lead to the opening of a hypermarket and added that domestic traders, “will have to learn to make a profit on their turnovers and not on the margins.”
