Former Yu republics to sign agreement on Sava river traffic
LJUBLJANA - Slovenia, Bosnia, Croatia and Serbia and Montenegro will sign a framework agreement on the Sava river traffic on December 3, 2002.
The agreement will regulate the traffic on the river and its tributaries, the economic development and the environment protection of Sava and the territories along the river and its tributaries.
The framework agreement will be signed by Slovenian Foreign Minister, Dmitriji Rupel, Croatian Foreign Minister, Tonino Picula, Foreign Minister of Serbia an Montenegro, Goran Svilanovic, and Bosnian Minister of Civil Affairs, Svetozar Mihajlovic.
The discussion on the framework agreement for the traffic on the Sava river were held under the patronage of the European Union's Stability Pact for southeastern Europe.
