New era in Yugoslav - US economic cooperation begins
BELGRADE - Vice-President of the US Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) Ross Connelly on Tuesday said he is confident that the US-Yugoslav business conference on how to succeed in Serbia is an opportunity to begin a new era in the economic cooperation between the two countries.
At the beginning of the second day of the conference at the Belgrade Hyatt Hotel, Connelly assessed that political and economic reforms in Yugoslavia meet the highest free market standards, adding that the US engagement in Yugoslavia is a reality since a free market is ideal for investors.
