Social program will be expanded, Vlahovic
BELGRADE - Serbian Economy and Privatization Minister Aleksandar Vlahovic said on Tuesday that the social program, which has so far included only 49 companies for which there are plans to be restructured in keeping with the government program, will in the next year be expanded to include companies which will be privatized via tenders.
Speaking at a gathering of the representative trade unions and the government, which focused on next year's budget, Vlahovic underscored that 7.5 billion dinars have been earmarked for the transition fund, and that the metal and textile sectors will have a priority in the coming year.
