New budget system - greatest achievement of new authorities, Sabic
BELGRADE - The strategic interest of Serbia is further decentralization and the
extension of economic competencies of local government, in order to secure a more uniform development of the country and to speed up its integration into the European Union, said on Monday Serbian minister in charge of state and
administration and local government, Rodoljub Sabic.
Sabic, who was speaking at a press conference ahead of a five-day training program for local government employees, assessed that the greatest achievement of the new democratic authorities was a new budget system of the country.
